WARRANTY POLICY

All products sold by SafeCityMohali come with a manufacturer warranty. This policy explains what is covered, for how long, and how to make a warranty claim.

  1. What the Warranty Covers
  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
  • Hardware failure under normal operating conditions
  • Component failure not caused by external factors
  1. What the Warranty Does NOT Cover
  • Physical damage caused by dropping, impact, water ingress beyond the rated IP level, or misuse
  • Damage caused by power surges — use a UPS or surge protector to protect your equipment
  • Damage caused by improper installation by anyone other than SafeCityMohali’s technician
  • Consumable parts such as batteries in alarm sensors — batteries are customer-replaceable
  • Cosmetic damage such as scratches or discolouration that does not affect function
  • Products with tampered or removed warranty seals or labels
  • Damage due to acts of nature — flood, lightning, earthquake
  1. How to Make a Warranty Claim

Step 1: WhatsApp us at [number] or email info@cctvmohali.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and a photo or video showing the fault.

Step 2: Our team will assess the issue within 2 working days. We may attempt remote diagnosis first.

Step 3: If confirmed as a warranty issue, we will visit your site to collect the product and send it to the manufacturer’s authorised service centre on your behalf.

Step 4: Repair or replacement timelines depend on the manufacturer’s service centre — typically 7-21 working days. We will keep you updated.

Step 5: Once repaired or replaced, we will reinstall the product at your site at no additional charge.

  1. Annual Maintenance Plan and Warranty

Our Annual Maintenance Plan (Rs 700/year) is separate from and in addition to the manufacturer warranty. The AMC covers scheduled maintenance visits, lens cleaning, angle adjustment, and WiFi reconfiguration — services not covered under manufacturer warranty.

  1. Warranty Registration

Qubo and Hikvision products may be registered on the manufacturer’s website for warranty. We recommend doing this within 30 days of installation. Details are on the product packaging or on your Job Completion Card.
